Central Florida Earth Day is a FREE event! Rain or shine! So far hundreds of sponsors, vendors, and contributors have committed to participating in Earth Day, with more signing up every day! Central Florida Earth Day is organized by Vegetarians of Central Florida. Please go to our website for more information about the group and its events.
Please check out the Other Events page for Earth Week events leading up to the festival on April 24 at Lake Eola. There is a Day of Action on Sunday, a Movie Night on Monday, a Concert Night on Tuesday, an Art Night on Wednesday, a Drum Circle Night on Thursday, and a Performance Night on Friday!
Garden Sponsor The Girls Gone Green is taking the lead in promoting Central Florida Earth Day. The company focuses on marketing within the green and sustainable marketplace. Green Girl Julie Watkins will be hosting Earth Day!

A LYNX bus has been painted with a Central Florida Earth Day theme! Look for that bus on the road. If you want to avoid driving by taking LYNX to Earth Day, go to the Travel page.
Solar-Ray will be demonstrating a working photovoltaic system with approximately 3 kilowatts of power. Also on display will be a grid-tie inverter, utility grade meter and back-up stand alone photovoltaic system. Solar-Ray's system will be hooked into the park's grid to create power for the event!
The Central Florida Earth Day website has been completely redesigned by Earth Sponsor Aeon Blu! Thanks to them also for the terrific Earth Day artwork. It will be on t-shirts available at the event.
