(please check back here regularly for updated information)
As with all events, organizations, and companies, we are carefully monitoring the situation with COVID-19. The safety of our participants and attendees is our highest priority.
Due to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and City of Orlando requirements, Central Florida Earth Day will not take place on April 25, 2020. We fully intend to hold the event at Lake Eola Park on a Saturday as soon as possible. Currently it is likely that will be sometime in June or July 2020. However, that is subject to change depending on the requirements and recommendations of governmental agencies and health authorities.
Regardless of when the event takes place, we will implement procedures to help ensure best practices related to slowing/preventing the spread of the virus, including extra bathrooms, hand washing units, and sanitizers. We will also be working with our food vendors to ensure the safest possible distribution of food.
Central Florida Earth Day is going virtual during Earth Week (April 18-25). Go to the Virtual page for more information.
Currently, all City of Orlando sponsored and/or permitted events with more than 10 attendees are cancelled or postponed until April 30: https://www.orlando.gov/COVID-19. Although the city has not set any specific guidance for events beyond that date as of this time, we have been informed it is certain that timeline will be extended until at least May.
