Climate X10: A Climate Change Voyage Through Time (presented by The CLEO Institute) Climate X 10 is a visual overview of the current global climate situation from the perspective of multiple time-scales. It walks back in time by powers of 10: 1 year ago, 10 years ago, 100 years ago, and so on to the formation of the planet. Each stop shows fluctuations in climate and a glimpse of life at the time in an image, a map, and graphs of key indices. The view then turns to look ahead in time, using established climate projection models, to imagine how human-induced climate change will affect the lives of people, animals, and the ecosystems that support them. |
